The drought monitor report as of April 9 is showing conditions moving from no dryness to abnormally dry for much of Southwest Kansas and we are still mostly abnormally dry.ÌýModerate drought is expanding in the central part of the state.Ìý
The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Foundation launched the ‘Grow With Us’ capital campaign almost two years ago, and with the finish line drawing near, the Foundation wants to give donors one more opportunity to be a part of the project.

The Shafer Gallery will host aÌýreception for its “Terra Et Intus†exhibit from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 12 in the Gallery and will feature light refreshments and a talk by artist and ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Art Instructor Mark Freeman. The exhibit opens April 5 and runs through April 20.
"Dancing with the Cougars" will continue with another dance class for the community featuring a swing dance class from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. April 12 in Studio 34, and all proceeds will go to support ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Dance Theatre's trip to dance in New York City.
