The Drought Monitor, as of this past Tuesday, shows the pattern of last week intensifying with extreme and severe drought encompassing much of Northwest and Southwest Kansas.Ìý Most of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ, Stafford, Pawnee, Rice, and Reno Counties are still in moderate drought.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ has released the 11 edition of its literary journal “Prairie Ink.â€
The journal is intended as a venue for local authors to showcase their creative writing talents.
The collection of fiction, poetry, drama and non-fiction is open to submissions from ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ students, employees of community members who live in ºìÐÓÊÓÆµâ€™s seven-county service area and the Fort Riley, Fort Leavenworth and Grandview Plaza outreach locations.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ has published its annual Report to the Community, which highlights the college’s progress toward meeting the mission set by the elected Board of Trustees.
Among the highlights from the 2019-2020 academic year include a total of more than 13,000 students served, 13 years with no tax increases, a return on investment of almost $3 for every ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ County tax dollar and a positive outlook as the college looks to 2021 after navigating many challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Instrumental Music Department will present its annual fall concert at 7:30 p.m.ÌýNov. 12. The concert will feature iconic instrumental music from across multiple decades!
