The ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Foundation aims to enhance the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ student experience with its 11th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot fundraiser from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, April 18 at Camp Aldrich, 884 NE 110 Ave. in Claflin. The money raised is used for mini-grants for ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ faculty members to purchase items for their classrooms to enhance student learning experiences. The foundation has awarded about $100,000 in mini-grants to date.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ will help area high school juniors plan for their futures at Junior Day, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 14. ÌýThere are 150 spots available and those interested can sign up at juniorday.bartonccc.edu. through April 5.ÌýSafety measures will be followed and masks will be required.

This is part three of a six-part series on the importance of academic integrity at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ. The college will feature six student stories throughout the spring semester that help showcase the virtues of academic integrity. ÌýThese virtues include trust, responsibility, honesty, courage, fairness, and respect.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Theatre will showcase six thoughtful plays by David Ives in its hilarious yet introspective spring production “Words and What We Do with Them.†The show will have four runs at the following dates and times with social distancing guidelines being followed and live-stream tickets also available: 7:30 p.m. March 19, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. March 20, and 2 p.m. March 21 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. In-person tickets and live-stream passes (available on select showings) are available now at bartonccc.booktix.com. Social distancing will be practiced for in-person viewings and masks are required when not seated.
