ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Dance Theatre will host a second Fairytale Kids Camp fundraising event this spring, where children aged three to eleven who love fairy tales can enjoy a camp full of creative expression led by ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Dance Theatre students from 2-5 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Fine Arts Building.
The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Foundation has announced the creation of the Lily Akings Legacy Scholarship, a fund established to honor the long-time ºìÐÓÊÓƵ County Health Department Director and her remarkable commitment to public health in ºìÐÓÊÓƵ County. The scholarship recognizes Akings' years of service as a nurse, leader, and advocate for the well-being of the region she cared for so deeply.

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ hosted a President’s Forum Thursday, offering campus updates, a question-and-answer session with college leadership, and recognition of employees for their years of service.

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 19. ºìÐÓÊÓƵ's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen, and classes will resume Jan. 20.
