ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ has named 317 students to the Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

The ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Foundation has announced the creation of the Lily Akings Legacy Scholarship, a fund established to honor the long-time ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ County Health Department Director and her remarkable commitment to public health in ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ County. The scholarship recognizes Akings' years of service as a nurse, leader, and advocate for the well-being of the region she cared for so deeply.

The drought monitor as of Tuesday, January 13th indicates marked improvement, especially in eastern Kansas.Ìý Last week’s precipitation helped a great deal.Ìý

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 19. ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen, and classes will resume Jan. 20.
