The aim of the publication is to provide a venue for local authors to showcase their creative writing talents.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ has named 206 students to the President’s List for the fall 2016 semester.Ìý To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ has named 252 students to the Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester.Ìý To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµâ€™s Sexual Misconduct & Assault Resources Team (SMART) will be hosting expert campus safety speaker Katie Koestner, who will present three sessions at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 7 p.m. on Feb. 2 at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ. The morning sessions will take place in the Fine Arts Auditorium with the evening session in the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Gymnasium.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ will help area high school juniors plan for their futures at Junior Day, starting at 9 a.m. Feb. 15, with a sign-up deadline of Feb. 1. Those interested can sign up at .

Junior Day will feature campus tours, info sessions with admissions, observation of the college classroom setting in two areas of interest and two scholarship drawings for three-credit-hour face-to-face classes with books included. Ìý
