It takes a person with a certain amount of natural creativity to sign up for a metalsmithing class and wind up learning to both sew and weld. That’s the level of creative license Alyssa Bliven has embraced throughout her career in art and art education, and so far it has served her and her students well. She said she has no intention to change her approach as ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s newest adjunct art instructor, which will have her teaching Fiber Art and Elementary Art.

We are now officially one week into the new year.Ìý Many made resolutions to lose weight, read a book, exercise and all the typical sorts of promises for a better 2018 than 2017.Ìý Today, as we are in the middle of winter, let’s take a moment to reflect and propose resolutions for agricultural producers in 2018.Ìý Many may already be doing some or all of these.Ìý These are designed to help producers think about ways to optimize profits not minimize costs.Ìý
