The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Instrumental Music Department will present its annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m., April 23 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The concert will feature instrumental music inspired by various geographical locations! Doors open at 6:30 p.m.Ìý
This years’ experience will feature the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, and the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Rock Band.Ìý
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Dance Theater will host a magical, fantasy-inspired spring concert titled “Once Upon a Time†at 7 p.m. April 29 and 30 in the Fine Arts Auditorium with a live-stream option available. Children ages 4 and younger get in free. Buying tickets in advance is recommended and additional ticket information can be found at shows.bartonccc.edu.Ìý

Dave Raynor has graced the stage with famous musicians such as Chuck Berry, Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers and Andy Williams to name a few. He’s played music all over the world and is a true master of guitar, and recently he took time out of his day to talk with students in ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s History of Rock and Roll class.Ìý

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s Center for Adult Education will soon begin another nine-week GED Preparation Class. However, orientation sessions are required before starting the class.Ìý
Students must attend all orientation sessions in-person, which will be held on May 11, 13 and 18. Students have the option of a 1-4 p.m. or 6-9 p.m. time slot.Ìý

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ has announced its spring 2021 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) International Honor Society initiates.Ìý
PTK is the international honor society for two-year colleges and symbolizes excellence in higher education. ÌýStudents with a GPA of 3.5 or higher are invited to join PTK. The PTK group at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ spends significant time sponsoring local events as well as volunteering to support others’ events.
