The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Nursing Department wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its Associate Degree nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 17. ºìÐÓÊÓƵ's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
As of January 4, from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ County, including ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, heading north, south, and east we are now in moderate drought.Ìý East of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, it’s abnormally dry and the forecast isn’t promising.Ìý
The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Department of Music will offer instrumental and vocal music lessons to the community this spring, and the last day to enroll is Jan. 17.
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will host a blood drive from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Technical Building in room T-186, the Case New Holland Training area.
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will help area high school juniors plan for their futures at Junior Day, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 16. Those interested can sign up at juniorday.bartonccc.edu through Feb. 1.

Great Bend resident Kammi Burroughs might not have been able to enroll in ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s Nursing Program as soon as she wanted, but one thing she has always been sure of is that caring for people was part of her destiny.Ìý
Students who would have already saved thousands of dollars by attending ºìÐÓÊÓƵ can also save hundreds more thanks to an effort by the faculty to transition to no-cost materials or affordable texts. The concept is known in higher education as Open Educational Resources (OER).
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ offices will close for holiday break Monday, December 20. ÌýAll offices will reopen Monday, Jan. 3. ÌýSpring semester classes will begin Tuesday, Jan. 11.
