After graduating from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s Construction Tech program in just one semester, Great Bend native Brecken Carroll immediately found employment and started earning a living as part of the window installation crew at MPIRE Improvements and Overhead Door of Great Bend.
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ has named 293 students to the President’s List for the fall 2024 semester. To qualify for this honor students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Theatre Department will present an emotional yet uplifting musical, “Sing Sing Blues,†written by ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Psychology Instructor Eric Smith, with multiple showings Feb. 20-23 with general admission tickets available for $10 at the door, and the production is suitable for ages 10 and up.
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will host a blood drive from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Kirkman Practice Gym. Donors will receive a $15 gift e-gift card from the American Red Cross to the merchant of their choice (to be mailed to the donor within 30 days of donation).Ìý
Flute players and music enthusiasts will have the opportunity to listen and learn from one of the best flutists in the region as Kansas City flute player and musicologist Bryanna Beasley will present a masterclass from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Chapel in the Fine Arts Building, followed by a duet recital with ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Guitar Instructor Aleia Gonzalez from 5-6Ìýp.m. March 5 in the Dorothy Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building.

When Great Bend High School student Trey Milsap was a youngster, he took a tour of the Great Bend Fire Station, which left him fascinated with the world of emergency response, and he is now working as a part-time firefighter for the Great Bend Fire and EMS Department all before graduating high school.
