Story by Joe Vinduska
Children ages 5-12 are invited to step into an enchanted afternoon at the βFairytale Partyβ hosted by ΊμΠΣΚΣΖ΅ Dance Theatre from 2:00-3:30 p.m. April 17.
ΊμΠΣΚΣΖ΅ students will give a special performance of dances, then lead a craft using basic household items to make a crown, teach storybook dances and much more. Children are encouraged to attend dressed up as their favorite fairytale characters. The cost is $10 per child and the event will be held on Zoom. Tickets are available at .Μύ
ΊμΠΣΚΣΖ΅ Dance Theatre Director Danika Bielek said she loves to get young people involved with dance.Μύ
βThe dance students are looking forward to meeting the kids and having a great afternoon,β she said. βThe party is full of fantasy and fun at a time we need it the most. Having the party on Zoom limits the boundaries of location so children can attend the party to play together from all over the country β¦ just like magic!"Μύ
This party is being presented in conjunction with the ΊμΠΣΚΣΖ΅ Dance Department's spring dance concert βOnce Upon A Time,β which will be presented in-person and via live-stream on April 29 and 30 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
