ºìÐÓÊÓƵ has launched the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Alumni and Friends Association, a new initiative designed to strengthen connections between graduates, former students, and the community while creating expanded opportunities for engagement, mentorship, and lifelong learning.

With thousands of students having attended ºìÐÓÊÓƵ since its inception, the program reflects the College’s belief that being part of the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ community extends far beyond graduation. The Alumni and Friends Association aims to build a vibrant network that connects alumni with one another, with current students and with the communities ºìÐÓÊÓƵ serves.

Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Foundation Director Lindsey Bogner said the program is a natural step in strengthening lifelong relationships between the college and its graduates.

“ºìÐÓÊÓƵ has always been more than a place where people take classes,†she said. “It’s where friendships begin, careers take shape, and people discover what they’re capable of. Our alumni carry those experiences with them long after they leave campus.â€

Bogner said the initiative aligns closely with the Foundation’s mission to support student success and enhance the college community.

“This program creates meaningful opportunities for alumni to reconnect with the college, engage with current students, and continue investing in the future of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ,†she said.

The college also announced the addition of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Alumna Julie Bugner Smith as Alumni Coordinator. In this role, she will lead the development and growth of the program, focusing on expanding alumni engagement, creating opportunities for graduates to reconnect with ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, and building partnerships that benefit both alumni and current students.

“The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Alumni and Friends Association is about building lifelong connections,†she said. “ºìÐÓÊÓƵ has played an important role in the lives of so many individuals and families, including my own. This program celebrates those connections while creating opportunities for alumni to share their experiences, mentor students, and remain an active part of the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ community.â€

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ President Dr. Marcus Garstecki said the initiative reinforces the College’s commitment to its alumni and supporters.

“We are proud of our alumni and the great things they have accomplished professionally and personally after leaving ºìÐÓÊÓƵ,†he said. “This program provides a meaningful way to keep them connected to the college, our faculty and staff, and our current students. It also recognizes the important role our community supporters play in advancing ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s mission.â€
